Degree or three-year Diploma in Geomatics
Five (5) years' relevant experience
Working knowledge of land use and planning processes and
practice
Knowledge of local government related legislation and policies
In depth knowledge in research of cadastral information and deeds
office ownership information
Advanced computer literacy
Verbal and report writing skills
Driver's licence and a personal vehicle is a requirement.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS TO THE POST:
Must have a valid driver's licence
Willing to enter high risk areas
Available to be called upon in case of emergencies
Ability to display tact under pressure
Good verbal, public relations and conflict resolution skills
Capable to conduct field work.
Key Performance Areas
Oversee and execute the technical function relating to
applications pertaining to Council immovable property
Oversee the interfacing with Division and Department's
stakeholders
Oversee the updating of property data by providing property data
