Requirements



A relevant Tertiary Qualification Project Management Certification (PMI, IPMA, Prince),

designation (PMSA) or registration (SACPCMP, ECSA) is



advantageous



8 years relevant experience as a project manager A valid driver's license is recommended Proficiency in MS Office applications Proficiency in MS Project and SAP PPM is advantageous

Key Performance Areas



To manage and coordinate the project life cycle of

projects and programmes primarily within the City's



transversal management system



Engage, facilitate and manage both internal and external

customers during the scoping of projects



Implement change management processes across multiple

projects within the organisation



Ensure project documentation is completed including

writing reports for distribution to management and to the



organisation



Ensure project management system deliverables are achieved

and adhered to



Facilitate project integration across relevant departments on

cross cutting matters



To plan, manage, facilitate, implement, monitor and/ or support

project scope, time, cost, quality, resources, risk, stakeholders,



communication, procurements, outputs/deliverables and outcomes



(benefits management) on multiple transversal projects across the



organisation.



To contribute to the City of Cape Town stage gate review

process by providing support to line project managers and be



able to participate in gate reviews with the main focus on the



project management case/ elements of each project.



Perform benefits tracking and management functions on

projects from the project inputs, to the project outputs and



project outcomes
