We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Agile delivery to join our dynamic team in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project management across business and IT initiatives, with a focus on Agile methodologies to drive collaboration, delivery efficiency, and customer value.
This is a 12 month contract position - HYBRID BASED - (3 days in Office)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage full project lifecycle, from initiation to close-out.
Apply Agile principles and practices to plan, execute, and deliver projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders.
Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and budgets.
Conduct regular sprint reviews, stand-ups, retrospectives, and Agile ceremonies.
Maintain transparent communication on project progress, dependencies, and risks.
Track KPIs and report project status to internal and external stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement and Agile maturity within teams.
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in IT or business change projects.
Proven experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience in tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, Scrum Master) is advantageous.
Bachelors Degree or relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Business, or related field
Nice to Have:
Agile coaching or change management experience.
Experience working in the Financial Services
Understanding of hybrid delivery approaches and scaled Agile frameworks (e.g. SAFe, LeSS).
