Prodigious brings specialist production expertise across all channels together with consumer and performance data, to produce, adapt and deliver efficient and effective marketing content, helping brands to win in a platform world.



The position requires knowledge in photographic, video production and post-production. Solid project management and administration skills are required, as well as excellent people skills, and ability to work to deadlines.

The job process and requirements include the following:

1. Briefing

• To receive a script, storyboard or concept for briefing.

• To interpret the brief in order to ascertain production requirements, budget and timeline for preparation of cost estimate.

2. Quoting and Preparation of Treatment

• Be able to ascertain required crew, equipment and other shooting requirements.

• Negotiate and liaise with external suppliers.

• Source creative elements for a treatment.

• Prepare a detailed cost estimate

3. Pre-Production

• Ensure availability of required crew.

• Book crew, equipment and obtain necessary permissions.

• Schedule and attend work-in-progress and PPM meetings and ensure that all aspects of production are discussed and confirmed.

• Prepare accurate production schedules.

• Monitoring of any and all changes such as additional requirements, scripts, cast, music, etc.

• Ensure all usages for talent, stock imagery and music are correctly quoted and processed according to industry standard

• Co-ordinate all aspects required for the shoot

• Distribute and oversee distribution of call sheets to crew and client.

• Monitor budget on an on-going basis

4. Shoot

• Management of the shoot - crew, agency, client etc.

• Client/agency/Prodigious liaison.

• Ensure that the shot-list and treatment is being adhered to.

• Manage production crew where necessary.

5. Post-production

• Agency and Client approvals

• Monitor any changes ensuring that the timing is adhered to and that the budget is being correctly managed.

• Obtain publishing/master rights and clearance for licensed or copywritten material.

• Have knowledge of final material requirements.

• Preparation and completion of the final reconciliation

6. General

• Risk management: mitigate risk in all aspects of production, from financial to operational

• Ensure all productions follow health and safety
