The successful candidate would be based in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape and responsible for supporting the management of the water treatment plant.

Chemical Engineering or N4 Water/ Wastewater or any water related field.
3 to 4 yearsxe2x80x99 relevant experience in the operations of Reverse Osmosis, MBR, DAF and Sludge Dewatering systems.
Valid Driverxe2x80x99s licence
Experience in managing maintenance for a water treatment plant.
Computer literate
NOSA/ SAMTRAC Certificate.
Mechanical understanding of water treatment plant equipment.

Supporting the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of the plant. This would encompass but not limited to client engagement, staff management, plant process performance, H&S compliance and overall management of operational maintenance, stock and chemical control.
Applying knowledge of the Reverse Osmosis, MBR/UF, DAF and Sludge Dewatering to support the site operations.
Work within the site shift structure when required.
