Management Level Definition:


Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives. May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.

Systems Engineer:

Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet a customer's business needs. Creates and maintains effective customer relationships to secure customer satisfaction. Provides the deepest level of product- and technology-specific expertise available to customers from anyone in the sales organization in deal pursuit situations. Aligned to specific products or product-lines. These jobs focus on selling to customers, typically through work that occurs outside HPE offices.

About the Role



HPE Aruba is looking for a passionate and technically skilled

Presales System Engineer

to support our direct customers in South Africa. You will be responsible for evangelizing our cutting-edge networking solutions, designing technical proposals, and building strong relationships with key decision-makers, including the C-suite. This is a customer-facing role with national travel and occasional international engagements.

Key Responsibilities



Manage and support a defined set of direct customers Evangelize HPE Networking and Aruba solutions to customers at all levels, including executives Design and present tailored technical proposals to meet customer needs Act as a trusted advisor by translating business challenges into technical solutions Collaborate closely with sales teams to drive business growth and close opportunities Stay updated on industry trends and HPE solution advancements

Mandatory Requirements



Deep technical knowledge of networking solutions (Campus, Data Center, Security, Cloud Networking) Proven track record of engaging and influencing C-level executives in a sales environment 5+ years of experience in a networking presales role Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, IT, or a related field Fluency in

English

(both written and spoken) Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills Open to frequent travel across South Africa and occasional international travel
