General Manager: Packhouse & Operations - LIMPOPO

A role exists for a dynamic operational leader with a passion for precision, people, and performance to manage a high-intensity, round-the-clock Packhouse operation, driving excellence across every facet of production, strategy, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

:

Packhouse Management Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and export standards. Monitor KPIs & implement corrective actions to meet production targets. Develop and execute strategies aligned with business growth. Collaborate with Exec team to forecast, plan, and scale capacity. Drive Efficiencies Champion automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Optimise Processes to refine packhouse performance & product handling. Stakeholder Engagement & Business Development with Growers Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team across multiple shifts. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and excellence.

Requirements:

Experience in Packhouse, Agri-processing operations at a senior level. Business & Financial Acumen Strong People management skills in high-pressure environments. Strategic mindset with hands-on operational expertise. Problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities. Advanced Excel Proficiency in Afrikaans is a must
