Job Description

Haven Health Management is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network Specialist to join our team in Gqeberha. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing, optimizing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure seamless communication and data flow across the organization. This position reports directly to the Head of ICT.

REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Grade 12 or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years' experience in network administration, design, and support. Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching. Experience with network security practices and technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience with cloud networking and services (AWS, Azure, etc.). Knowledge of VoIP and telecommunication systems. Project management experience in network-related projects. Experience with Ivanti MDM platforms Experience with Mosyle MDM platforms


The successful candidates will be responsible for, including, but not limited to the following:

Design, implement, and manage network systems including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality and security. Configure and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Ensure network security by implementing and updating security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and maintenance activities. Provide technical support and training to staff on network-related issues and best practices. Coordinate with vendors and service providers to manage network services and resolve issues. Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the network infrastructure. Managing Mosyle MDM platforms Managing Ivanti MDM platforms
