Job Description

Be a technical expert in terms of IT security, datacentre networking & wireless technologies. This is to ensure the enforcement of network security policies by understanding, implementing and enforcing policies as per the organizational requirements in order to improve the information security posture of the organization.
Key Responsibility Areas

• Ensures the optimal functioning of network security, datacentre and wireless systems and facilities the alignment of information security controls with business objectives.
• Implements, administers and maintains information technology security solutions as well as datacentre network systems and wireless systems controls.
• Provides maintenance to network security, datacentre and wireless systems.
• Ensures the maintenance of network security, datacentre and wireless architecture by advising on future directions in information technology.
• Performs supply chain functions.
• Informs and provides support to project teams in relation to technical issues during the initiation and planning stages of projects& project implementations.
• Provides consultancy service.
• Performs technical evaluations of ICT business solutions.
• Provides input into Network Security Architecture and Standards.

Essential Requirements

• Diploma (NQF Level 6) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field.
• Advanced Network Certification.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 4 Years relevant experience.
• Computer Literacy.

Preferred Requirements

• Degree (NQF Level 7) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field.
• 5 Years relevant experience.
