Senior .net Engineer – Backend Focused
Job Description
My client is looking for Senior .NET Engineer Backend Focused, based in Midrand, with a Hybrid work model (3 days in office per week).
Requirements:
57 years professional software development experience.
Strong backend experience with ASP.NET Core and C# (3+ years).
Front-end experience with React (2+ years).
Proficient in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Cloud experience (Azure preferred).
Strong understanding of software architecture, clean code, integration, and testing practices.
Experience with unit and integration testing.
Ability to optimise applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Comfortable working in agile teams (sprint planning, stand-ups, retros).
Ability to mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
Willingness to complete technical assessments (where applicable).
