Job Summary
Ensuring that tasks are contracted using Works Authorization alongside Project Managers
Adhering to company policies and protocols for document submission
Observing the proper procurement procedure
Implementing the accurate engineering change process for design modifications
Taking accountability for achieving personal task goals and deadlines
Offering expertise and guidance in the mechanical design field
Engaging in mechanical design work
Assuming Mechanical Element Leadership at the module level
Reviewing and endorsing design data packs
Delivering technical and design review presentations
Conducting calculations, analyses, and simulations related to mechanical components, systems, and assemblies
Coordinating and executing qualification tests
Compiling comprehensive high-level reports
Procuring prototype components
Managing communication with subcontractors
Integrating components into a prototype system

Skills & Experience:
Advanced Solidworks or equivalent design software
MS Office
FEM Analytics (static and dynamic structures)
CFD Analysis (thermal management, flow dynamics)
Must be able to perform prototype built and integration
10+ years of experience
Previous exposure in product development environment advantageous
Expert level knowledge of mechanical design (structural design, mechanism design, mechanical integration design, etc)

Qualification:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Professionally registered with ECSA would be advantageous
