Job Description

Ensuring that tasks are authorized through Works Authorization in coordination with Project Managers
Strictly adhering to company policies and protocols regarding document submissions
Following the established procurement procedures accurately
Implementing the precise engineering change process for design modifications
Taking responsibility for accomplishing personal task objectives and meeting deadlines
Providing expertise and guidance in the field of mechanical design
Engaging in mechanical design activities
Assuming the role of Mechanical Element Leader at the module level
Reviewing and endorsing design data packages
Delivering technical and design review presentations
Performing calculations, analyses, and simulations related to mechanical components, systems, and assemblies
Coordinating and conducting qualification tests
Compiling comprehensive reports at a high-level
Procuring prototype components
Managing communications with subcontractors
Integrating components into a prototype system

Skills & Experience:
Advanced Solidworks or a comparable design software
MS Office
Capability in FEM Analytics, encompassing both static and dynamic structural analysis
Proficiency in CFD Analysis, particularly in thermal management and flow dynamics
Able to execute prototype construction and integration
Possesses over a decade of experience
Previous familiarity with a product development environment is advantageous
Demonstrates an expert-level understanding of mechanical design, including structural design, mechanism design, mechanical integration design, and related areas

Qualification:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Professionally registered with ECSA would be advantageous
