Job Summary
Hire Resolve's Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in Piping for a key role in a major Oil & Gas project. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing projects across the full EPC lifecycle, with a proven track record in delivering high-quality engineering solutions in complex environments. This role demands strong technical acumen, leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead piping engineering activities through all EPC phases: engineering, procurement, and construction
Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
Oversee and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones
Prepare technical documentation, including design calculations, material specifications, and engineering reports
Manage contractor and vendor interactions, including review and approval of technical submittals
Support project management functions with progress tracking, risk identification, and issue resolution
Contribute to project planning, cost control, and quality assurance processes
Participate in regular project meetings and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)
Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years focused on piping in the Oil & Gas sector
Demonstrated experience on major projects, including the Jafurah Project or equivalent
Strong understanding of engineering standards and piping design methodologies
Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Well-presented, professional, and collaborative personality
Experience working in a multicultural, expatriate environment preferred
