As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll take the lead on designing, reviewing, and optimising high-temperature equipment for industrial furnaces. You'll also mentor junior engineers, work across global teams, and deliver projects from concept through commissioning. Your expertise will directly influence the future of the engineering department.
Job experience and Skills Required:
- Mechanical Engineering degree (B.Eng or B.Tech)
- ECSA registration as Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech
- 10-15 years' mechanical design experience, preferably in metals, mining or furnace environments
- Strong skills in 3D design tools (AutoCAD, Inventor), FEA, and CFD
- Proven track record in leading projects and mentoring engineers
