Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up of project requirements and
- Scope
- Manage multiple complex projects at the same
- Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer
- Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and
- Task delegation, tracking and
- Management of the engineering
- Interaction with
- Site visits and
- Strongly focused in project management and design from conception to completion.
- Strong design and mechanical, structural analysis competency including
- Supervise both mechanical engineers and draftsman both within their own project scope as well as others.
- Ability to conduct structural analysis on chassis design
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical
- 5 years work experience in relevant field of engineering and
- 2 years experience working as a lead
- CAD experience (Solidworks).
- Work using a product management system (Team Centre).
- Hands on experience with mining logistics
- Proficient in office products such as teams, excel and word.
