Job Purpose 
 To lead the strategic direction, design, and implementation of enterprise-wide learning experiences that drive business performance, talent development, and organizational capability. This role is accountable for shaping the learning architecture, embedding human-centered design principles, and ensuring the delivery of innovative, scalable, and impactful learning solutions across all portfolios. The Senior Manager of Learning Design and Development serves as a thought leader, advisor, and integrator across the learning ecosystem, aligning learning strategy with business priorities. 
Job Responsibilities 
 1. Strategic Learning Architecture & Experience Design
 Define and evolve the enterprise learning architecture aligned to business strategy and future workforce needs.
 Champion the adoption of blended, digital, augmented, and experiential learning methodologies.
 Lead the design of learning journeys that are scalable, inclusive, and measurable across all levels of the organization.
 Embed behavioral science, adult learning principles, and design thinking into all learning solutions.
 Oversee the curation and governance of learning content and platforms to ensure consistency, quality, and relevance.
 2. Cluster Capability Building
 Build and lead a high-performing learning design team with deep expertise in instructional design, digital learning, and experience design.
 Develop internal capability across the learning community through coaching, mentoring, and strategic partnerships.
 Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and experimentation in learning design.
 3. Governance, Risk & Compliance
 Establish and maintain learning design standards, policies, and quality assurance frameworks.
 Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with enterprise risk and governance protocols.
 Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes for learning technologies and services.
 4. Measurement & Impact
 Define and implement learning impact measurement frameworks, including ROI, learner experience, and business performance metrics.
 Partner with data and analytics teams to derive insights and continuously improve learning solutions.
 Report on learning effectiveness to executive stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
 5. Innovation & Technology Leadership
 Lead the integration of emerging technologies (AI, machine learning, immersive tech) into learning design.
 Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of learning platforms and tools.
 Stay ahead of industry trends and position the organization as a leader in learning innovation.
