Senior Manager: Export Sales

Middelburg, Mpumalanga, South Africa

Our client has an opportunity available for a Senior Manager in Export Sales based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga.

Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Commercial, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
10 to 15 years' experience in manufacturing and commercial sales processes and people management.
Experience at Senior Management level would be advantageous.
Have an outgoing personality with excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Must possess advanced computer literacy.
Must be fluent in English. Knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese would be advantageous.
Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities:

Generate sales of products and increase profitability by broadening the company's horizons. This may include travelling to other countries.
Ensure that products are made available in the international markets by analyzing the trends of customers and developing sales plans.
Manage the export sales department including the commercial processes and administrative staff.
Achieve shipping, invoicing and revenue targets.
Review customer performance, attending meetings and business discussions to facilitate overall growth and development of the business organization.
