We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Manager to take the reins of Core Planning and Optimization at our Network Group. This key leadership role involves spearheading the efficient planning, design, and optimization of our core network to meet the evolving business requirements of the COMPANY SA.

Key Competencies:

• Contribute to core network strategy and architecture.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends.
• Drive short-term execution plans and maintain capacity.
• Develop policies for hardware and software deployment.
• Ensure future-proof core network design for customer satisfaction.
• Implement processes for performance tracking and improvement.
• Collaborate with network and business departments.
• Provide detailed design documentation for operations.
• Forecast, plan, and review Core network budgets.
• Manage expenditure in line with agreed budgets.
• Act as a technical representative in negotiations.
• Manage budgetary aspects and recruit top talent.
• Set and manage KPIs for the reporting line.
• Drive continuous improvements in processes.
• Stay updated on technology trends and customer needs.
• Approval signatory for Capex and Opex expenditure.
• Engage in contract negotiations with suppliers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: B Degree or National Technical Diploma.
• Experience: Over 5 years in Mobile Core, understanding RAN and IP technologies.
• Training: Industry-specific training in core network technologies.
