Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Remote)
Atacana Group, Inc. is a global competitive strategy and intelligence firm focused on the healthcare industry. We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer focused on large language models and expertise in machine learning to join our AI team.
You will be part of a dynamic team of engineers and scientists from leading organizations (i.e. Amazon, IBM, Novartis, Carnegie Mellon, AstraZeneca) working on solutions to accelerate human decision-making in the healthcare space by developing novel LLMs and publishing scientific papers and patents.

The successful candidate has a strong background in applied machine learning and in developing and releasing LLMxe2x80x99s in production environments. The ideal candidate should:

• Be fluent in English, with the ability to speak, write and communicate confidently
• Possess deep knowledge of LLMxe2x80x99s and Machine Learning
• Craft end-to-end applications that showcase state-of-the art techniques in machine and deep learning
• A solid portfolio of LLM and Machine Learning/NLP projects from ideation to release
• Work with the team to help design, develop and run practical experiments, as well as launch new machine-learning features
• Be open to receiving and providing constructive feedback

Skillset
We are looking for candidates that have the following skillsets:

• Strong programming skills in Python and expertise with DL frameworks such as PyTorch
• Knowledge of statistics and experiment design
• Experience with optimizing and fine-tuning LLMxe2x80x99s for production
• Experience developing production-grade APIs
• Knowledge of unit testing and the ability to write clean, extensible code
