Job Description

Salary R20 000 per month + R1500 Medical Aid Allowance and 10 days paid leave.



Our Client is looking for a highly experienced and resourceful Senior Legal Recruiter to join a fully remote team. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes recruitment, especially over the phone and on LinkedIn, where they'll be doing most of their talent sourcing and outreach.


They'll be responsible for placing top legal professionals into high-performing firms and legal departments, with a strong focus on quality over quantity. Experience in and/or knowledge of the UK legal sector is a major advantage, and a background in scaling teams or helping businesses grow is a huge plus.

Key Responsibilities:



Able to understand what a 'good' candidate looks like and build an appropriate candidate attraction strategy. Source top legal talent from the private practice market in the UK Leverage existing network of candidates to nurture relationships and position the client as the go-to agency for their next more Potential to manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to placement, with a legal industry focus Use LinkedIn Recruiter like a pro - identify, engage, and convert top legal talent Build strong, empathetic and genuine long-term relationships with clients and candidates Place legal professionals across private practice, in-house teams, and global markets Maintain accurate tracking of all activity in CRM/ATS systems Collaborate with other recruiters/consultants and leadership to shape workflow and process to ensure coverage of the talent landscape Collaborate with leadership to shape and grow the legal desk Stay up to date on legal market trends and provide strategic insights
3-5+ years of experience in legal recruitment (agency or in-house) Phone first attitude to communications Expert-level LinkedIn skills - confident using LinkedIn Recruiter, InMail strategy, and profile targeting Experience recruiting in markets recruiting for UK legal roles is a strong advantage, or at least recruiting for specialist fee-earner candidates in the professional services sector in candidate-short markets Excellent written and verbal communication Bonus: experience growing or leading teams, or building out a recruitment desk


Nice to Have:


+ Legal qualifications/practising experience (LLB, paralegal, etc.)
+ Experience in international markets beyond the UK
+ Familiarity with tools like Bullhorn, Workable, or similar ATS platforms
