Senior lecturer:
- Doctoral degree or its equivalent in data science or pure mathematics.
- At least 5 years teaching experience at tertiary institutions.
- At least 5 publications in accredited, peer reviewed journals.
- Evidence of supervision of 5 postgraduate students at least at Honours level.
- Master's degree or its equivalent in data science.
- At least 3 years teaching experience at tertiary institutions.
- Teaching and mentoring.
- Compilation of teaching portfolio (e.g. teaching outcomes, teaching methodology and assessment of students)
- Curriculum development and review.
- Application of appropriate teaching approach/methods and rationale.
- Participate in research seminars.
- Manuscript writing, attendance of conference proceedings.
- Supervision of honours, master's and doctoral research projects.
- Participation in community-based projects.
- Resource mobilization for community projects.
