APPOINTMENT AT A SENIOR LECTURER LEVEL
PhD in History of Education/ Philosophy of Education/ Sociology of Education. 5 years' teaching experience at a tertiary institution or 7 years' professional working experience in the relevant field. At least five publications in accredited and peer-reviewed journals. Experience in postgraduate supervision will serve as an added advantage. Must have the ability to manage workload and possess efficient administration skills. Ability to deliver teaching in ways that stimulate, engage, and inspire students to learn.
DUTIES
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Supervise Honours, Master's and PhD students. Assist the department in developing and improving its curriculum. Publishing in an accredited journal. Conduct community engagement. To teach using E-learning/online resources/platforms.
