Job Description

My client is looking for Senior JavaScript Software Engineer for a hybrid role in Pretoria, Johannesburg and Cape town
Requirements:
xc2xb7 Bachelors degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field
xc2xb7 Minimum of 6 years experience as a software engineer in an enterprise environment
xc2xb7 Proficient in core software engineering principles with a strong focus on clean code and best practices
xc2xb7 Ability to architect and structure small projects in complex enterprise ecosystems
xc2xb7 Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new frameworks and technologies
xc2xb7 Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a passion for learning and improvement
xc2xb7 Strong customer-facing skills and ability to understand and translate client requirements into functional solutions
xc2xb7 Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (23 days per week in-office in JHB, PTA, or CPT)
xc2xb7 Strong experience in front-end technologies: Angular, React, Vue.js
xc2xb7 Exposure to backend technologies: .NET, Java, Python
xc2xb7 Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and build tools such as:
Frameworks: Express, Next.js
Build Tools: Webpack, Grunt, Gulp
Package Management: NPM
xc2xb7 Experience with non-relational databases, particularly MongoDB
xc2xb7 Ability to work across multiple environments and tooling configurations
