Senior It Technician – Randburg

Job Description
The ideal candidate is an experienced IT professional with an MSP background who can manage a team, implement processes, and guide technical strategy while still being capable of stepping in on escalations and complex projects when needed.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical foundation in Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, and security.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of MSP operations, RMM/PSA tools, and ITIL frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage escalations, client expectations, and complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills able to translate between technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Commercial awareness of MSP profitability and service efficiency.
- 710 years IT experience, with at least 35 years in an MSP leadership or senior technical role.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and managing service delivery.
- Relevant certifications strongly preferred:
- Microsoft (Azure Administrator, M365 Enterprise Admin, etc.).
- Networking (CCNP or equivalent).
- Security (CISSP, Security+, Sophos/ESET certifications).
- ITIL Foundation or higher.
- Experience in project scoping, delivery, and stakeholder management.
