Senior It Technician – Randburg
Job Description
The ideal candidate is an experienced IT professional with an MSP background who can manage a team, implement processes, and guide technical strategy while still being capable of stepping in on escalations and complex projects when needed.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong technical foundation in Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, and security.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong knowledge of MSP operations, RMM/PSA tools, and ITIL frameworks.
Proven ability to manage escalations, client expectations, and complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication skills able to translate between technical and business stakeholders.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Commercial awareness of MSP profitability and service efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
710 years IT experience, with at least 35 years in an MSP leadership or senior technical role.
Proven experience leading technical teams and managing service delivery.
Relevant certifications strongly preferred:
o Microsoft (Azure Administrator, M365 Enterprise Admin, etc.).
o Networking (CCNP or equivalent).
o Security (CISSP, Security+, Sophos/ESET certifications).
o ITIL Foundation or higher.
Experience in project scoping, delivery, and stakeholder management.
