Mid - Senior Support Technician (Onsite, Melrose Arch - Johannesburg)
Our client, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP), is looking for a Mid to Senior Support Technician to join their team. This is not a desktop engineer role -- you'll be based onsite at a corporate client in Melrose Arch, providing hands-on support across servers, telephony, networks, and end-user devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain desktop images, servers, and associated equipment
- Support hosted telephony (3CX) and biometric access systems
- Assist users with desktops, mobiles, and peripherals (on-site & remote)
- Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot hardware & software
- Maintain documentation, backups, and general IT administration
- 5+ years IT support experience (remote/on-site)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft OS & PC hardware
- Microsoft certification (beneficial)
- Experience with hosted telephony (3CX advantageous)
- Proactive, hands-on, and client-focused
- Valid driver's licence & own transport
