Senior IT Manager international company based in Johannesburg - To securely provide and maintain the information systems and infrastructure to support business objectives

:

• Integration of suitable business re-engineering programs across the group
• Managing of projects and operational requirements concurrently
• Effective prioritizing
• Managing diverse set of solutions across multiple regions, companies and countries
• Decisions have major implications on the organizations, management and operations of an area within a department.
• Important strategy, operational and business decisions that affect the department.
• Short Term Planning xe2x80x93 Weekly/Daily tasks management
• Medium Term Planning xe2x80x93 Project Update/Management
• Long Term Planning xe2x80x93 Strategic Project Planning
• Prepare IT budgets annually and implement required cost controls
• Oversee maintenance of all company IT assets
• Oversee the security of IT assets
• Manage and maintain Emergency/Disaster
• Recovery Plan
• Manage cyber threats and incidents. Implement cyber-attack mitigation measures, educate business users to reduce cyber threats
• Oversee daily backups performed of all systems according to set IT standards and procedures
• Ensure IT strategy is aligned with business strategy
• Manage IT software and hardware
• Document configuration of critical business operation systems accurately
• Monitor company-wide IT standards and procedures continuously
• Ensure all queries from clients are addressed timeously
• Ensure software licenses are bought from the correct suppliers to meet customersxe2x80x99 needs
• Oversee software and hardware application installations are according to IT policies and procedures
• Monitor all services of service providers continuously to ensure service levels agreements are met and business objectives are fulfilled
• Submit all IT reports monthly to relevant stakeholders
• Ensure business systems are aligned with business objectives
• Ensure IT needs of all stakeholders are continuously evaluated and addressed accordingly
• 2x Direct Reports
• 13x Indirect Reports

Education:

• Information Technology xe2x80x93 Degree (essential)
• MCSE / MCSA - Information Technology (desired)

Functional / Technical:

• Knowledge of information systems (e.g. Networks, Business systems, etc.)
• Strong ERP Knowledge and background
• Knowledge of relevant legislation
• Knowledge of business processes
• Knowledge of new technologies and trends
• Microsoft Operating Systems
• LAN/WAN Network Knowledge
