Job Description

My client, a key player in the specialised finance industry, is seeking a Senior IT Developer to lead the development of complex systems that power their operations. This individual will play a crucial role in designing, building, and enhancing applications using modern .NET technologies. From architecting SQL solutions to developing Blazor Server components, this role requires a strong technical backbone and a collaborative mindset.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, provide technical direction to junior developers, and continuously optimise existing systems for scalability and performance. This is an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in a business where technology is central to the service offering.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 7 years' experience in software development
At least 3 years' experience with:
C#, .NET, Blazor Server, Visual Studio
Bootstrap, Web API, .NET Core, .NET Framework 4.5, Entity Framework Core, MVC,WCF
Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server (2017+) -- writing queries, stored procedures, functions
Solid grasp of system architecture & design principles (SOLID, GoF patterns)
Financial services industry exposure is a plus
Advantageous: familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, SSIS, CRM systems, or SharePoi
Qualification:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field is essential
