Senior It Developer
Job Description
Designing, developing, and maintaining robust VB.NET applications
Managing and optimizing SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries
Working closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions
Playing a lead role in debugging, documentation, and the long-term sustainability of legacy systems
Contributing to technical decision-making and mentoring junior team members
Skills & experience:
Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in VB.NET development
Strong command of Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, database design, and performance tuning
A solid understanding of application lifecycle and software development best practices
A methodical and proactive approach to working with legacy systems
Any experience with .NET migrations or modernisation projects would be a plus
Qualification:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology or any relevant degree
