Job Summary Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:
Minimum of 3-5 years as an IT Manager, ideally with experience in a dealership network, branch or retail outlet environment.
Relevant degree or diploma in IT or Computer Science.
Africa and/or Automotive experience is a huge plus!

Problem-Solving Skills: You thrive on diagnosing and resolving complex issues with a methodical approach.
Leadership: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to guide teams, manage IT projects, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
Project Management: Solid experience planning and executing IT projects, ensuring deadlines are met, and systems are upgraded seamlessly.
Tech Stack Proficiency: Hands-on experience with networking, server management, cloud systems, and data governance.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Network Overlord: manage daily operations of the network infrastructure, servers, and systems--think maintenance, upgrades, backups, and a fully optimised IT asset list.
Tech Budgeting Guru: take charge of the IT budget, forecast costs, and ensure efficient use of resources. It's all about balancing performance and cost-effectiveness.
Cyber Security Sentinel: implement and maintain robust security measures, ensuring data and systems are locked down tight. You will also make sure compliance with relevant regulations is top-notch.
Project Lead: take the reins on IT projects, from system rollouts to upgrades and migrations. Be the project manager driving the process from A to Z.
Tech Scout: research and evaluate the latest tech--whether hardware, software, or new systems--to ensure they are staying ahead.
Troubleshooting Ninja: When things go wrong (and they do), be the one to quickly identify the root cause, fix the issue, and reduce downtime. Also support the group's IT support calls.
Cross-Functional Collaborator: work closely with other departments to align IT solutions with business needs, ensuring that everything we do supports the broader strategic goals.
Disaster Recovery Pro: develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to safeguard against data loss and potential disruptions.
SLA Creator: be responsible for developing and managing SLAs for IT contractors across the region, ensuring that services meet the required standards.
Travel: for 4-5 week days per month, you will travelling to the East African countries.
