Job Summary
Senior Investment Banker to assume responsibility for originating and executing on Debt Advisory mandates, transactions involving nontraditional credit exposure and assist with IB Optimization in respect of strategic liquidity, credit and capital initiatives within the Investment Bank. Suited to a candidate with post graduate degree(s) with a focus or underpin in finance, engineering, mathematics or investment banking coupled with 15+ years' work experience in a client facing role within a corporate, institution and bank. Must have analytical ability and knowledge of financial markets and products, specifically debt, advisory and/or credit opportunities experience
General - Develop and interlock strategic initiatives for DACO. Engage internally to understand evolving IBD needs and priorities and assess impact on the team's activities. Consider the decisions DACO needs to make in terms of product development, deployment and adoption. Engage externally in the broader investment bank community to understand and contribute to latest trends and developments. Provide strategic feedback into IBD to help influence IBD's broader business plans to adapt to a changing external environment. Engage with stakeholders across the firm to create synergies. Ensure adequate planning is in place for the team's activities and engage with the relevant desk heads to ensure that more broadly DACO team plans can be coordinated holistically with other development teams.
Origination - initiate origination initiatives by following key trends as well as by building sector knowledge and supporting strategic dialogues with potential clients. You will have a client-facing role from origination to closing.
Transaction execution - be responsible for key workstreams such as the drafting of all marketing materials (information memorandum, teaser, management presentation, etc.), client management, financial modeling etc. and lead in the negotiation of term sheets and documentation.

Drive and help build a culture of learning about liquidity, funding and capital approaches across the IBD.
Provide insights to improve the IBD's performance and identify any issues that the IBD is not adequately addressing or is not prepared for. Work with senior stakeholders to formulate an appropriate response.
Build an external profile and look to drive where possible industry initiatives in the DACO space. Be a thought leader and look to work with the various IBD teams to engage with clients where appropriate
