Our client is looking for an experienced Investment Analyst to join their Development Fund team. As an Investment Analyst, you will be a key player in their finance team, shaping the financial strategies that fuel their continued success.

Duties will include, but are not limited to

• Financial Analysis: Apply your financial expertise to dissect and analyze investment opportunities, providing critical insights for strategic decision-making

• Market Research: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and market dynamics, conducting exhaustive research to steer strategic investments in the ever-evolving petrochemical manufacturing industry

• Rigorous Risk Management: Implement robust risk assessment methodologies, identifying potential challenges and devising strategies to effectively navigate risks associated with investment portfolios within this sector

• Optimizing Investment Portfolios: Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to fine-tune investment portfolios, ensuring they align with corporate objectives and deliver maximum returns

• Stakeholder Synergy: Engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships to improve investment strategies and financial outcomes

Desired qualifications and experience

• BCom Economics or Investment Management
• MBA's Would be considered as advantageous to this role in addition to other recognised qualifications such as CA(SA) or CFA.
• Proven experience as an Investment Analyst within the petrochemical or related industry.
• Solid grasp of financial modeling, risk analysis, and investment valuation.
• Exceptional analytical skills, coupled with a sharp eye for market trends.
