As the firm continues to grow and take on prestigious new projects across the region, they are looking to expand their creative team with a talented and experienced Senior Lead Interior Designer. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-end hospitality projects that celebrate Africa's beauty and cultural richness-while enjoying the flexibility of remote work and occasional travel to breathtaking locations.
The Role:
As Senior Lead Interior Designer, you'll be at the forefront of concept development, spatial planning, detailing, and procurement for luxury hospitality interiors. You'll collaborate closely with a passionate, creative team, oversee key project stages, and bring visionary designs to life in some of the most extraordinary locations on the continent.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design development process for high-end hospitality interiors, from concept through to delivery.
• Collaborate on creative direction, mood boards, FF&E, and material selection.
• Produce detailed design documentation using Revit, AutoCAD, and/or ArchiCAD.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and clients to ensure design intent is maintained throughout.
• Oversee and manage procurement processes-including sourcing, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Conduct site visits as needed to oversee implementation and maintain design integrity.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in interior design, specifically within hospitality projects.
• Prior experience in the luxury lodge, safari, or boutique hospitality sector is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and ArchiCAD (at least two of the three).
• Proven experience in procurement, including vendor liaison and logistics.
• Excellent spatial awareness, detailing, and documentation skills.
• Strong sense of aesthetics, materials, and contextual design sensitivity.
• Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Africa as required.
