Our client has an exciting position for a Senior HR Practitioner.
Job Purpose:48
- The day to day running of the human resource department.
- Recruitment and Selection handling recruitment processes, developing job descriptions, updates where necessary, and ensuring compliance with Labour laws.
- Employee Relations Managing employee relations, resolving conflicts, and developing strategies to improve engagement and retention of staff within the business.
- Performance Management overseeing performance appraisal and management processes to ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees.
- HR Policy development creating and updating company HR policies and procedures, to ensure that we are always compliant as a company.
- Staff Time Management manage staff attendance, leave management, time-off requests. Ensure accurate recording and reporting of staff working hours. Leave always to be pre-approved.
- Employee Data Management maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR database.
- Labour law compliance relevant laws and regulations i.e., Employment Equity
- Payroll Administration manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of staff. Liaising with the company that payroll is outsourced to.
