Manage the
collection and counting of stock

Ensure accurate
punching (inputting)
of OE and stock sheets into the system (computer literacy required - further training may be needed).
Oversee and assist with
stocking of all bedroom linen, guest supplies, and OE stock
.
Ensure
stock takes
are completed on time, with all data accurately captured and submitted by the set deadline.
Staff & Operational Management:
Supervise operational housekeeping staff; follow up on
staff absenteeism
, arrange replacements, and
notify the Head of Department (HOD)
.
Address
guest complaints
promptly; investigate issues, provide solutions, and give feedback to the
Executive Housekeeper and Hotel Manager
.
Facilitate disciplinary actions
with the HOD as required (training required in disciplinary procedures).
Delegate tasks such as:
Vacuuming of passages
Cleaning of windows and public areas
Daily housekeeping duties and special assignments
Ensure
daily attendance registers
are completed and signed by all present staff.
Manage
daily allocations
, ensuring the notice board reflects all relevant notes (e.g., VIP arrivals, special requests).
Communication & Reporting:
Immediately escalate any concerns regarding
rooms, staffing, linen, or equipment
to the Executive Housekeeper -- not after a delay.
Communicate all operational issues or guest-related concerns directly to the
Executive Housekeeper or Hotel Manager
.
Assist in completing
Matrix reports
related to carpet cleaning, voile changes, and other operational needs.
