What will you do?
You will provide strategic consulting and advisory services on healthcare benefits within the South African employee benefits environment. This includes medical scheme analysis, wellness programme design, compliance, and cost optimisation for corporate clients. You will be responsible to drive client satisfaction, retention, and portfolio growth while ensuring operational excellence across the region. This will include overseeing the daily activities of consultants to align with the strategic objectives of

and deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes. This role will have both a key client and strategic focus and is based in
Umhlanga in Kwazulu-Natal
.
Key Responsibilities
Client advisory and strategic consulting to deliver expert guidance on medical schemes, gap cover, and wellness solutions
Benefit design and review by conducting annual reviews, benchmarking, and cost analysis of healthcare benefits
Compliance to ensure adherence to FAIS and healthcare-related regulations, including risk awareness and management
Stakeholder engagement by building strong relationships with executive and human resource teams to ensure client retention
Reporting by preparing and presenting high quality healthcare reports and recommendations to clients, including monthly operational reports as required
Industry insight by monitoring legislative changes and market trends to inform client strategies
Drive new business development by identifying opportunities, building strategic relationships, and delivering tailored healthcare benefit solutions to expand the client portfolio.
Qualifications and Experience
Matric
Fais Compliance is required, i.e. Wealth Management NQF5, RE5 and Class of Business: Health Services benefits & Class of Business: Long-Term insurance
A relevant diploma or degree would be highly advantageous
5-7 years' proven track record in the Healthcare Industry
2-4 years' working experience at a management/senior level
Accreditation with Council of Medical Schemes is required
Knowledge and Skills
In depth knowledge of South African healthcare regulations such as Medical Schemes Act, FAIS Act, POPIA and Healthcare Benefit Structures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level engagements
Ability to manage multiple client portfolios and deliver under tight deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle
