Tswalu Kalahari Reserve is seeking a skilled and reliable senior handy man to join our dynamic team. Join our team within the hospitality industry today.

The handy man will be responsible for the overall management of maintenance projects.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 Electrical trade test

Experience:

The successful incumbent must possess at least five (5) years' experience within building maintenance, construction, electrical, plumbing, carpentry or other relevant fields.

Good knowledge of handover reporting Sound knowledge of fire alarm systems and evacuation procedures Experience with air conditioning systems will be advantageous

Other requirements:

Drivers license Code EB Computer literate Language proficiency: English (Speak, read and write)

Tasks/Activities/Responsibilities:

Inspecting buildings grounds and equipment. Handling necessary repairs and maintenance. Installing equipment and appliances. Following building codes. Compliance with OHS regulations. Keeping maintenance logs and reports up to date. Reporting any issues to Maintenance Manager or Clients. Responding to repairs and maintenance requests in a timely fashion. Following written and verbal instructions. Reading and understanding manuals, blueprints and drawings. Using equipment, including power tools, hand tools. Adhering and participating in the Long Run's 4 C initiatives and GER standards

Shortlisted candidates will be expected to undergo psychometric testing and background screening.
