Job Summary

SENIOR HAIR STYLIST - creative colorist

Riyadh - Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Starting Date: Visa Pending (may take up to 3 months to clear)

Reports to: Salon Manager

Contract Period: 2-year contract with option to renew

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

  • 8-hour work day + 1 hour meal break
  • 6 shifts per week
  • 30 days annual paid leave (after 1 year completed service)
PACKAGE POTENTIAL & COMPANY BENEFITS:
  • $ 2,000 / Saudi Riyal 8,000 per month (Based on desired technical skills & experience)

SCOPE OF THE JOB:

We are seeking an experienced and talented Hair Stylist/ Colorist to join our team. An individual who is naturally self-driven in her quest for excellence, energetic and enthusiastic by nature. The ideal candidate will align with our value system, be eager to grow and be grown. In this position the incumbent will work with our current team of talented of beauty professionals and our client support team who comprise of eight different nationalities.

QUALIFICATIONS: * NQF Level 4 certified Hair Styling or Cosmetology
  • Trade Certified
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Thorough understanding of current trends in hair styles, cuts, perms, and colouring.
  • Superior verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with clients to understand and help them explain complex or specific requests.
  • Thorough understanding of salon offerings.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Thorough understanding of hair styling equipment and maintenance.
  • Ability to work under pressure as contributing member of the team.
EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years working experience within a high end salon OR ship salon
  • Previous working experience within the GCC is beneficial
DUTIES & Day-to-day Responsibilities: * Perform services for clients, following Company protocols & SOP's, with the goal of providing effective services.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
  • Uphold the standards as directed by the local governmental standards
  • Carry out the client service cycle including thorough consultation, and impeccable service according to standards and procedures prescribed.
  • Consult with clients to fully understand desired service and final look requested; sets expectations for results and upkeep needed for particular treatments and styles
  • Adhere to a process to obtain and maintain all client records for Hair Services, colour code recording , treatment plans etc .
  • Attend product workshops, training and other trainings as needed and required.
  • Assist Management to ensure that the salon is up to date with new developments in the field.
  • Collaborate with the Salon Manager and team on all supplies and maintaining inventory.
  • Contribute to the growth and productivity of the Company by meeting set goals and targets.
  • Apply the education-based training and non-aggressive sales approach, to inform clients of the product, service, and treatment options with the intention and ability to build retention and repeat business.
