Job Description

A leading, well-established financial services group is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join their Group Finance team. This is a high-impact role suited to a technically strong finance professional who enjoys working at group level and leading people.
Reporting into senior leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in group reporting and consolidation, ensuring accuracy, compliance and strong financial oversight across the group.
Key Responsibilities

• Performing group consolidations across multiple entities
• Preparation of Group Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
• Preparation and review of Group Management Accounts
• Providing strong technical accounting input, particularly around consolidations
• Leading and mentoring a small finance team
• Liaising with auditors and key internal stakeholders

Experience & Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification preferred
• 5+ years post-articles experience
• Strong technical accounting and consolidation experience
• Prior insurance industry exposure is advantageous
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team
• Confident, professional presence with the ability to operate at senior level
