JOB CONTEXT:
Were on the lookout for a sharp, detail-driven, skilled and experienced Senior General Building Foreman to join our dynamic team in Cape Town.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and overseeing project teams effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily site operations to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Manage and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Maintain communication between project managers, engineers, and on-site teams.
- Conduct quality control checks and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
- National Diploma in Building or a related qualification.
- 5-10 years experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record in upmarket housing developments.
- Experience in multi-level residential, commercial, and/or retail building projects (for senior roles).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Valid drivers license and own transport.
- Based in Cape Town.
- Will be agreed based on qualifications, experience and skills.
