Summary
Our client, a global Leader in the Engineering industry is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer (Java and Angular) to join their team on a long term contract basis.
Contract up to end of December 2027.
Location: Pretoria Menlyn / Pretoria Rosslyn / Midrand and home office on a rotational basis
Description

• Willing and able to travel internationally and work with international teams.
• Develop new user-facing features with a focus on responsive design.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
• Willingness to take over 24/7 Operations Support according to schedule.
• Understand the business requirements, prepare AS-IS, and TO-BE documents, and get sign-off from users for functional and/or technical design documents.
• Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes.
• Execute the required changes through configuration.
• Interact with consultants of other modules for Integration requirements.
• Prepare test data and documentation, conduct Unit tests, Regression tests, System Integration security tests including recording of results and change management (transport) activities.
• Prepare User manuals and conduct training to business process owners.
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.

• Profound knowledge and expert-level experience in Java and Angular and related technologies.
• Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
