This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer based in Europe or Africa.
This is a fully remote position where you'll play a key role in shaping scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly web applications. You'll work with modern technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Redux to design and build intuitive interfaces that enhance customer experience. As part of a global, fast-growing SaaS company, you'll collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams, contribute to a shared design system, and mentor junior engineers. Accountabilities

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable UI components and features using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Implement responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces aligned with product requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams -- including product, design, and backend -- to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences.
• Build and maintain reusable components and contribute to evolving the company's design system.
• Optimize frontend performance and ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Write and maintain comprehensive tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to guarantee stability and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Mentor and support junior developers, fostering growth and technical excellence.
• Continuously identify and drive technical improvements within frontend systems and workflows.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in SaaS software development.
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficiency in state management tools (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Proven experience developing scalable, maintainable frontend architectures.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Good understanding of accessibility (a11y) and web performance optimization.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with backend services.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS experience is a plus).
• Strong written and spoken English (C1 level).
