Senior Food & Beverage Manager - Luxury Lodge - Western Cape - KarooJob Overview: Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Senior Food and Beverage Manager to lead our culinary and dining operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing food and beverage outlets, a keen understanding of industry trends, and the ability to elevate the overall guest experience. As the Senior Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain high standards of service.Responsibilities:Strategic Planning:Develop and execute strategic plans for the food and beverage department aligned with overall business objectives.Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost control, and improved operational efficiency.Menu Development and Innovation:Oversee menu planning and development, ensuring offerings are aligned with current culinary trends and customer preferences.Collaborate with the culinary team to introduce innovative and appealing menu items.Quality Control:Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service.Conduct regular inspections and tastings to ensure consistency and adherence to established standards.Operational Management:Manage day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and catering services.Optimize workflows, streamline processes, and implement efficiency measures.Financial Management:Develop and manage budgets for the food and beverage department, monitoring expenses and revenue performance.Implement cost control measures and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement.Team Leadership:Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing food and beverage team.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.Guest Experience Enhancement:Implement initiatives to enhance the overall guest experience, including service standards, ambiance, and personalized service.Respond promptly and effectively to guest feedback, ensuring a focus on continuous improvement.Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and industry standards.Stay informed about changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar senior leadership role.Strong knowledge of culinary and beverage trends, as well as industry best practices.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Financial acumen with the ability to analyze and interpret financial reports.Customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional service.Culinary or hospitality degree is preferred.Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and hospitality software.If you are a seasoned professional with a passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences, a strategic mindset, and the ability to lead and inspire a dynamic team, we invite you to apply for this senior leadership position.
