Key Performance Areas:
Maintenance Management:
Planning, scheduling, and tracking all maintenance activities (preventive and corrective) to minimize downtime, ensure safety, and extend the lifespan of the assets.
Asset Tracking and Monitoring:
Using Ctrack/I-Cam to monitor the real-time location, movement, and condition of assets.
Utilization Optimization:
Analysing usage data to ensure assest are deployed efficiently, balancing workloads, and identifying underutilized assets that may need to be reallocated or sold.
Fuel Management:
Monitoring fuel comsumption, identifying wastage or theft.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensuring all vehicles and operations comply with local and national regulations (e.g., licensing, registration, emissions standards, safety rules) and managing insurance and accident claims.
Cost Control and Budgeting:
Tracking all associated costs (fuel, maintenance, insurance, etc), creating and managing budgets, and using data analytics to identify areas for cost reduction.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintaining detailed records for all asset information, maintenance history, compliance documentation, and performance reports.
Disposal and Replacement:
Planning for the eventual decommissioning or replacement of aging or inefficient assets to maximize their residual value and keep the fleet modern and effective.
