Job Description
A bespoke Mechanical Engineering Consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Fire Engineer to join their team in KZN. If you are Professionally Registered with a strong background in designing fire protection systems for buildings projects, then this is the role for you.
Role requirements:
BEng/BSc in Mechanical Engineering
Must be registered as Pr. Eng with ECSA
8+ years industry experience in building services
Relevant software experience
Key responsibilities:
Lead mechanical engineering designs for Fire protection systems.
Prepare technical specifications
Conduct heating and cooling load calculations
Conduct pipe and duct sizing calculations
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
Conduct site inspections
Mentor junior staff
