Theyxe2x80x99re looking for a Senior Financial Manager who knows the ins-and-outs of the industry, and who can forecast, guide, and optimise like a pro on policy.POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare monthly reporting and analysis
• Exco presentation
• Group and regulatory reporting
• Income tax and VAT submissions
• Internal controls management
• Monitor the risks affecting distribution channels and implement systems to mitigate risks
• Prepare budgets and forecasts
• Monthly TB processing and reviews
• Review/prepare monthly BS recons
• Review daily payments and analysis of supporting schedules
• Ad hoc reports and projects
• Prepare AFS
• Liaise with internal and external Auditors
• Business partner for distribution channels
• Team management

• Qualified

Skills & Experience:

• 5 to 7 years post-articles experience within a technical role, with a focus on Group reporting and tax/VAT
• Insurance industry experience essential
• Strong IFRS knowledge
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Pastel experience preferred
• Financial and business acumen
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment
