Senior Financial Accountant / Accounting Manager.
A well-established organization in the Eastern Cape is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant / Accounting Manager to oversee core financial operations and lead a high-performing finance team. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical accounting expertise combined with proven people-management skills to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of the finance function.
The role has a strong focus on fixed assets, accounts payable, and cash management and is ideal for a dynamic professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can communicate complex financial information clearly to both finance and operational stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee fixed asset management
• Manage and control accounts payable (AP)
• Supervise cashbook and treasury operations
• Drive month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review supporting schedules
• Assist in the preparation of accurate management accounts and financial statements
• Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team (approximately 3-8 staff), promoting accountability, professional development, and teamwork
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Qualification: BCom
• Experience: 3-5 years' relevant financial accounting experience
• Management: Minimum of 3 years' people management experience
