Senior Financial Accountant
Job Description
Grand Central Airport based in Midrand, Gauteng, is seeking a mature and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to manage and support their financial operations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has worked in a small to medium-sized business and is confident in preparing financial reports, supporting management decision-making, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full financial function, financial reporting, preparing monthly MANCO packs, maintaining financial integrity, and contributing to strategic planning. While this is not an executive-level position, it offers exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly financial reports, including MANCO packs, and assist with variance analysis. Maintain financial controls, manage cash flow, and support treasury functions. Assist with statutory reporting and closing of books. Support budgeting, forecasting, and capex reviews. Monitor fuel and tenant pricing, overhead recovery, and expenditure. Liaise with tenants and the CEO on financial matters. Supervise Accounts Payable and Debtors functions. Ensure monthly reconciliations and SARS compliance. Assist with audit preparation and tax submissions. Contribute to productivity analysis and margin reviews.

Minimum Requirements:
BCom degree in accounting or similar qualification. 15+ years of experience in a finance management role working in a medium-sized company. Solid experience in financial reporting and month-end processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Sage Evolution. Proficiency in Access is an advantage.
