Job Description
Senior Financial Accountant - JHB North
Requirements:
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting systems.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS 9, 16, 17.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies, and ensure financial reports accurately reflect the company's performance, with a focus on insurance-specific metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights that inform strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Streamline reporting processes to enhance the timeliness and accuracy of financial data, ensuring continuous improvement
- BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance
- SAIPA or SAICA Articles qualified
- 5+ years post Articles experience within the Micro-lending or Capital Markets Sector
