Senior Financial Accountant / Accounting Manager
Job Description
A well-established organisation in the Eastern Cape is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Accountant/Accounting Manager to oversee core financial operations and lead a dedicated team. This hands-on role requires a blend of technical accounting expertise and strong management skills to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of the financial function, with a strong focus on fixed assets, accounts payable, and cash management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Fixed Asset Management
- Accounts Payable (AP) Oversight
- Cashbook & Treasury Operations
- Drive the month-end and year-end close processes, prepare supporting schedules, and assist with the production of reliable management accounts and financial statements.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team (likely a team of 3-8 staff), fostering accountability, professional growth, and effective teamwork.
- Process Improvement & Compliance
- Education BCOM
- Experience 3-5 Years experience
- 3 years Management Experience
